I have loved the book series (read them all) and have really enjoyed the TV series. This week also saw the series finale to The Expanse. Just finished it and it was very engaging, tho I feel the TV show did a better job with the few female characters and indigenous characters as well. Of course, I then had to go on to listen to The Terror by Dan Simmons. Season 2 is a little slower so far, but still worthy (tho I haven’t quite finished it). The Terror was one of the British ships trying to chart a Northwest Passage. I sped through season 1, realizing it’s based on a Dan Simmons book by the same name. There’s a little supernatural stuff happening in each season. Season 1 is the Arctic, 1840s season 2 is beginning of WW2 US Japanese concentration camps. Each season is set in a different historical time period and location. I made the delightful mistake of watching The Terror, a dramatic historical fiction series on Hulu.
